In year 2011 Avantha Power had recruited good number of graduate engineer trainees from Mechanical, Electrical & EEE branches of chhattisgarh based engineering colleges & in year 2012 they recruited simlar numbers from M.P based engineering colleges for their project in M.P.
Avantha Power & Infrastructure Ltd. currently have three subsidiaries :
(1.) Korba West Power Company Limited (KWPCL), which is a power generation company based at Raigarh in the State of Chattisgarh. KWPCL has 1200MW thermal capacity under implementation in two phases of 600MW each & one of which(600 MW) has recently achieved its first stage of commissioning where it can run on oil to test it is ready to operate commercially or not before it can commercially start operating..
(2.) Jhabua Power Limited (JPL), a subsidiary of Avantha Power & Infrastructure Limited, is a power generation company based at Seoni in the State of Madhya Pradesh. The site is located near villages Barela - Gorakhpur, Tehsil Ghansore of Seoni District. JPL
currently has 1260MW thermal capacity under implementation in two phases of 600MW & 660MW.
(3.) Malanpur Captive Power Limited (MCPL), a subsidiary of Avantha Power & Infrastructure Limited (APIL) is located at Bhind District, Madhya Pradesh State.Malanpur captive power Ltd. (MCPL) is Gas Fired Power Plant having generation capacity of 26.19MW.
Avantha Power began construction in August 2010 in C.G and successfully executed the project in 38 months. BHEL has supplied the boiler, turbine, and generator equipments.
So dear Mechanical & Electrical branch job seekers keep a close eye on this company.One thing I forgot to tell you about Avantha Power , They had given NPTI training to 2011 selected candidates with nice stipend before they were sent to Raigarh plant which is really a nice thing for a Mechanical or Electrical branch freshers to get stipend while getting trained on latest Power Plant Technology from National Power Training Institute (NPTI)-A very prestigious institute to train on Power Plants operations amd maintance.
