Key Skills/Job Profile: | Knowledge of ITIL processes • Exposure to monitoring and ticketing systems • Team player with ability to work under pressure • Fluent in English (both verbal and written) • Knowledge of Incident reporting packages • Experience of service monitoring • Knowledge on alerting and ticketing tools like Tivoli, NSM, ITSM, EARS • Previous experience in operations arena (NOC, SOC) A broad understanding of the elements that comprise the enterprise IT infrastructure is required. These elements include the following; • Server hardware and OS • Operating systems (Windows 2000/2003 Sever, Unix, Solaris, AS/400) • Network Protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP/MIB, DSN, DHCP) • Network Components (Router, Switches, Firewalls) • Databases (MS SQL 2000, Oracle 9i, Sybase) |
