Key Skills/Job Profile: | At this level individual is a fully contributing member who works under broad supervision and is responsible for test execution, test case development (automated / manual), modifications/ enhancements, test case review, end to end support for simple applications and for reporting bugs and test bed issues. At this level individual monitors and escalates risks to lead / PM, checks for scheduledherence to all milestones and assists the lead / Test Manager in preparing final test report. Prepares traceability matrix. -->Data Centric testing(L2)-Should be able to write sql statements involving joins and grouping Should havegood knowledge of Database concepts Should able to understand the Mapping Document Should be able to prepare test cases based on mapping document -->Testing Concepts(L1)-Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Works on problems of limited scope, through usage of standard programming concepts and principles. Works under high supervision/guidance with frequent review of accomplished objectives. Expected to learn on the job towards developing domain knowledge along with technical/ proprietary skills. |
