JSPL has always emphasised on working with a fresh talent pool. The Company recruits fresh engineers at the entry level under the Graduate Engineers Training Programme (GET). GET has been introduced so that young engineers can be recruited and shaped as per the working standards and methodology of the Company. The first All India GET Recruitment process was initiated in 2007, where 125 fresh engineer graduates across 4 disciplines i.e. mechanical, electrical, I&C & metallurgical were hired by JSPL.

The above statistics clearly shows that top 5 - 8 % candidates are recruited by JSPL from the total number of applicants.
The Methodology of recruitment under GET is through:
- Written Test (Domain + Aptitude)
- Group Discussion
- Personal Interviews (Technical + HR)
- Physical Fitness Assessment (started from 2008)
The new recruits, at first, are acclimatised to organisational culture, values and also to the systems, quality procedures etc. They also go through an awareness training on the safety procedures. All the GETs undergo a structured class room training for 3 months in which they are trained in the following:
- Behavioral aspects like: Team Building, Attitude transformation, Communication skills, Decision making & Problem Solving
- MDP on Iron, Steel & Power by reputed training institutes like IIPM, NISST, TAACT etc.

HOW TO APPLY:
Eligible and interested candidates would be required to apply online only through JSPL
website: www.jindalsteelpower.com No other means/mode of application shall be accepted.
Please go through the detailed Advertisement to ensure you completely fulfill the eligibility
criteria for the post you want to apply. Once done, before processing with the procedure of
filling the Online Application Form, take a printout of SBI Payment Challan form (Pay in
Slip)** and visit your nearest SBI Branch to make the examination fee payment.
**SBI payment Challan Form (Pay in Slip) is available on the Application Registration
Portal home page. The applicant will get 3 copies of the payment form; one for self,
one for SBI & one for JSPL. The JSPL Copy needs to be submitted by the candidates on
the test day failing which candidates will not be allowed to appear for the written test.
Before registering their application on the website the candidates should possess the
following:
Stamped Copy of the SBI Challan Form/Pay in Slip of 500/- paid as examination fee
with Journal Number and Branch Code. ( 25 additional to be paid to SBI as Bank
Charges)
Valid e-mail ID.
Digital Passport Size Photograph in pen drive or in the computer from which filling the
Online Application Form.
NOTE: Journal Number and Branch Code will be provided by SBI Fee Collecting Branch
IMPORTANT:
State Bank of India has been authorized to collect the registration fee
(examination/processing fee), in a specially opened account (No. 31340551405) at CAG
Branch, New Delhi, on behalf of JSPL. A candidate has to approach the nearby SBI Branch
with a printout of the pay-in-slip, which is available on the Application Registration Portal.
The pay-in-slip printed from the Portal only should be used for depositing the fee for proper
crediting of amount in the allocated account. On receipt of the money the concerned branch
of SBI will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch Code of the branch collecting the
money. This Journal Number and a Branch code are to be filled up by the candidate during
online registration. In case the candidate deposit the fee in a wrong account, JSPL will not
be responsible. There will not be any other mode of collection of registration fee. Also please
note that an amount of Rs. 25/- will be paid by the candidate as Bank Charges to the
collection branch of SBI in addition branch of SBI in addition to the applicable registration

provided through email. Responsibility of receiving, downloading and printing of admits card
invalid/wrong email ID provided by the candidate.
After applying online, candidate is required to print the system generated Registration Slip

The eligible candidates who are issued Admit Cards for the Written Test areto bring along
with them:
Original Signed Copy of the Registration Slip
Admit Card downloaded from the JSPL website
JSPL Copy of SBI Challan
GENERAL INSTRUCTION:
The courses offered by Autonomous Institution should be equivalent to the relevant courses
approved / recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) UGC/AICTE.
Whenever CGPA/OGPA or letter grade in a degree is awarded; equivalent percentage of marks
should be indicated in the application (online) as per norms adopted by university/Institute.
No request for change of examination centre shall be entertained. However JSPL reserve the
right to cancel or add any centre depending on the response in that area/centre.
Candidates appearing in the final year of qualifying examination may also apply.
Candidates should retain a photocopy of their Pay in Slip and Registration slip for future
reference.
Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Delhi.
NOTE:
JSPL may increase or decrease the number of posts to be filled based on requirement.
Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their passing the Companys Medical
Examination as per standards laid down under JSPL Policy.
