About the Role and Responsibilities

Location: Bangalore, IN

About the Role:


Primarily role will be to contribute to the feature development and sustenance activities of CSR product releases built on top of Java/J2EE.

Key Responsibilities:

· Contribute to the development of features and enhancements for CSR releases. This requires analysis of the feature, design, development and unit testing activities.

· Support sustenance releases of WR/CSR with bug fixing and analysis activities.

· Work with Agile process for iteration based development.

· Should be able to write good JUnit testing for development activities.

Qualifications

Required Experience/Skills & Education:

· Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering/Master Degree in Computer Applications

· 2-4 years of Experience developing Java based client/server software using Java/J2EE frameworks (EJB, Servlets, JDBC, XML, JSON, etc.)

· Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and REST Web services is highly desired.

· Experience with at least one J2EE Application Server (JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic, etc.)

· Experience with at least one development IDE (Eclipse, NetBeans, etc.).

· Experience with at least one version control system (CVS, Subversion, etc.)

· Experience and interest in Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns, and Object Oriented Programming.

· Familiarity with JDBC, SQL and understanding of one database product.

· Basic knowledge of Windows, Linux and/or Solaris operating systems.

· Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members worldwide
