Job In Honeywell Automation For 2010-2011 Freshers & Pass Outs As Software Engineer.


Description:

the candidate would be working on Projects involving Systems and DO178B Software engineering within Displays & Graphics CoE. The candidates should have capability to independently perform with little supervision from leads/managers on the day-to-day activities pertaining to estimation, systems or software requirements gathering, systems or software architecture and design, peer reviews, audits and compliance to aircraft certification requirements meeting the objectives of DO178B. Candiates should be able to contribute to the full life cycle engineering and certification activities of the program and perform duties per the day-day direction from program focals. Candiates should be able to communicate orally and written clearly meeting stakeholder commitments.


Qualifications:
 
 QUALIFICATION: BE / BTech / ME / MTech - College Graduate/Post graduate with coursework in Operating Systems, Data structures, Computer architectures, Computer Graphics and Compiler design
EXPERIENCE: 0 - 3 years of industry embedded programming experience
ESSENTIAL SKILLS PREFERRED: Experience in developing embedded software graphics drivers to support 2D, 3D graphics namely OpenGL ES with hardware acceleration.
Preferred experience in IO drivers, device drivers, Graphics drivers and memory management skills.
Strong Programming skills in C and C++ with Assembly language programming/debugging expertise.
Strong Systems engineering skills are preferred.
Embedded Software Engineering experience with at least one Real Time Operating System hands-on.
Software debugging skills to hardware interfaces.
Preferred Knowledge in VC++ (MFC) programming.
Preferred Experience in safety critical display systems.
Candidate must possess strong English language skills
Candidate should be willing to travel based on project needs.
